i was supposed to be doing something productive right now. instead i'm here. no regrets. the productive thing has waited this long, it can keep.

comfy thread, comfy thoughts. it's nearly 3am somewhere and i'm thinking about the sock thing again. they emigrate, right, that's established science. but here's what keeps me up: WHERE. is there a tiny sovereign nation of single socks? do they have a flag? and more importantly — do they take requests, because i've got odd body hair in places that suggests MY bits are emigrating too and nobody consulted me. one day you're twenty with a tidy little landing strip of intentions, next you're finding wire-thick strays in places that require a mirror and a full tactical plan. anyway. cereal for dinner is valid. the toaster and i have called a truce.
